Upon hearing that Liam was again even in worse mood his mother walked down the hall quickly unlocking the door and pulling Gilbert out by his hair as she growled at him. The child winced but didn't fight back it hurt but he knew better then to fight back since it would end with him getting beaten more. Getting to another room with in the home she dragged him all the way there. Shut the door behind them both looked at the boy before her. "What have you done? All you do is hurt your bother cause you don't know any better. . . .why do you throw everything back in face?!" she yelled him as she took a whip off the wall started to whip him. Gil cried and curled up trying to defend him self from his mother.

"I-I wasn't mother. . . .please understand I never try to do things like that. . . but whatever I do it seems to make everyone mad no matter what I do. . . " he cried as he was being whipped by her feeling his skin break open in parts where she was hitting him more as he started to bleed. "What did you do this time!" she yelled at him. But he didn't answer knowing she wouldn't like it so he kept quiet and that only made her more upset as she whipped him more after a while she threw it to the side seeing him shake and cry. "You worthless little brat. . . " as she walked out of the room locking. "You will stay here for now I don't care what you need to do in your room your staying there. . ." as she walked away from the door.

She headed down the hall passed her sons room looked at him then walked on heading into her room as she started to clean up getting the blood marking off her face and arms changed her clothing into her evening meal wear since it was almost dinner time. Gil on the other hand after some time passed he shook his body in pain as he cried on the floor looking at the light that came from under the door his pale eyes stinging a little but then just didn't understand why and how and how come he was so different but then he knew it was cause of the land they lived in and how it worked.

Slowly he dragged him self away to the corner slowly helped him self up feeling the blood against his body dry it was so painful to move he didn't know what he was going to do any more. But he knew all he could do was die sooner or run away he didn't know what he could do any more he was scared and everything he did was wrong, no matter how hard he tried.

Liam came out of his room after several hours leaving his room door wide open he had managed to calm down but his room looked like it had been hit by a hurricane as everything including his bed and other furnishings where all destroyed through his rage but he was glad everything was insured as he was very prone to destroying his belongings.

Getting to gil's room he opened the door to apologise for ass hat but found the room empty so wondered where he would be. Walking to his mothers room he opened the door as he normally did looking around for her "Where's Gilly?" he asked as if it was an every day question.

Walking out of her closet she looked Liam, "Oh sweetheart, Gil. . .I sent him away to stay in the darkroom for the night since you took out all your anger on a maid by cutting her hair." she said to him she was kind mother but also stood her ground as much as he loved her son she was not going to be pushed around by him also, so whatever she picks to do with Gil will be followed. "Why are you looking for him? Dinner is almost ready my dear." looking at him.

"I did warn her not to come into my room so it was her own fault." he explained knowing he couldn't be held to fault on that one as normally everyone left him alone when he was in that kind of mood but coming in twice was just suicide. "Okay I'll go get him." he explained turning to go get his twin he loved his mother but when he was calm like this he never really did like seeing his twin in that room.

"I was intending to make out with him." he said without even thinking his hand going to his head "Please don't be mad, I know you and father don't deny me anything but that is the one thing I want..." it wasn't exactly like he got out much so took what became the apple of his eye which happened to be gil

"Oh lord not this again? Really Liam? Does it have to be him? You could have any one in the world and land and you still want him?" she asked walking out of the room. "Ugh dear he is to stay in the room but if you want him out then fine I will be in the dinning room waiting on you and since your father is going to away for a very long time mind what I say to you.

"Yes really mother, I am cooped up in this house twenty four seven, I never interact with anyone but you, father, the servants and Gilly... I like gilly," he he said huffing a little, he wanted to go see gil but his mother's word was law so followed her to the dining table perhaps he would find a way to get some food to gil in a bit but for the moment he would obey his mother's wishes.

"Well, as you know you are allowed to leave and do what you will as long as you are not crazy about it my dear." as she sat down at the table waited for Liam once he sat down the maids started to serve the meal of the two would bow and walk away. "So did you want anything for your birthday this year before it ends?" she asked him.

"Father doesn't allow me to leave he says the world is to dangerous." he said sighing sitting at his normal seat, watching as the maids served them their food. picking up a fork he played with his vegetables "I want gilly to me treated better." he said bluntly to the question.

". . .I see, as you know it can't happen that way, he will be better treated later in life just now it can't be that way. . ." she said to him as she took a bite of her meal. "In away you don't have you worry about what your father says, so if you want to go out then go out and do what you like if you can make friends." this was something she wanted that is why her husband, "Went a long trip".

Liam just pushed his meal forward "I'm not hungry, and if gilly isn't being treated like me, then I want to be treated like him." he said walking off it was as simple as that as far as he was concerned. going to the dark room he opened the door and walked in sitting down next to his brother "I want us to be the same so we can love each other, if they can't bring you to my level I will come to yours." he said with a smile.

Gil looked at him moved away. "No. . ." was all he said. "I can't do this any more. . . .it hurts. Your moods and mother always wanting better for you. She wont do it I know she wont. . . .cause it law of our family. The next head can't be twins that is why we have to treated differently so they wont have another war like that last right after birth it ended. . . you scare me she scares me. . . .I can never do anything right. . .life hurts. . .your all so mean. . .your nice at first when I do something you don't like or I say something wrong you get mad. I can't do anything to you happy. . . " as he moved away limping back to the door.

Liam looked to him blinking as he ranted "you got everything out?" he seemed almost clueless asto what was going on as he watched the other limp away "Do you really think I care about family law? If it means I can be stable with you I would give everything away" he stood and walked to him "I've had bags packed for a year now and a little bungalow where we could live away from them if you wanted to go." he explained

"Do you not understand I live out of fear of you! And everyone around me!" he yelled at him. "I seem okay to the out side world able to smile and laugh while at school saying how some I look so bad but I will make something up people tell me to be more careful. . . .I should know better. But everyone in the world scares me, everyone!" as leaned against the door frame. "I don't wanna be scared. . . .or try to please people. . . .I don't even care about living!" he said to him.

Liam looked to him and nodded sighing a little he knew he hadn't helped the matter but then how could he be fully blamed after all since he was raised this way. "Whatever you want Gilly." he said moving to where his brother was and leaned in kissing him lovingly before moving to his room "Come see me if you want gilly." as he moved to his room he just flopped on the remains of his room "If a wish of mine could be granted on the day of our births I would wish we where the same and always had been for better of for worse." his voice was low his eyes closed, it was the first selfless thing he had ever said but he hated how they where separated and he knew it wasn't the case in other families.

He wondered down the hall making it back to his room he laid down sighed some curled wished something well would happen something not like this any more.

Liam curled up on the remains of his bed this was the worst birthday of his life, he just wanted to go back to the days where they where the same "I want that more than anything Gilly, we where so much happier and I know I have been a bastard but I love you and want us to be happy together." he never believed in a family curse and he wasn't about to start now.
