Lance laughed patting the boy on the shoulder and smiling "Would you rather deal with charlie pissed? Or talk to a man face to face when he is outnumbered?" Lance stood there waiting for the man to come.

Leo winced, "I guess talking to him would be the way to go.." He said as he followed behind Lance.

Cu carefully opened the window, unstuck his weapons from the wall, and flung them into a corner of the room.

Talk? he thought, amused, while stepping into the room.

Leo walked towards the man, unarmed. "What business do you have here..?" he said cautiously, eyeing him over.

Lance stood there looking at the man waiting for a response. He notice while looking into the mans eyes that it was like he was trying to speak through them.. "Do you talk?"

((I should probably mention that there's still a weapon sheathed on his back. It's not completely obvious, but it's...there.))

Ignoring the boy's question, Cu glanced at...Lance, was it?...and raised an eyebrow. Mercenaries should have better control that than. Granted, the man had been sleeping, but if he hadn't been in a safehouse, who knew what could have happened?

Do I talk? You think I would have spoken sooner if I could.

Brushing the kid aside, he let his nose lead him down to where the food was.

Leo looked behind him to see the man rummaging through their refrigerator. "The hell...?" he said bewildered. He reached into his pouch, pulled out a piece of candy and threw it at the man. Not sure what to expect.

Lance looked at leo smacking the back of his head "He's incapable of speech" Lance watched as the man made it to the kitchen "He better hope charlie doesn't catch him eating without doing work first" He laughed and followed the man to the kitchen

A bit too focused on trying to find something edible that suited his tastes, Cu winced as the candy bounced off the sheath on his back and glared at the boy.

Candy? Do I really look like the type to eat candy?!

But it was food, anyways, so Cu picked it up, stared for a few moments, and ended up placing it into a pocket.

Lance frowned "Unfortunately, We have no warm food because recently charlie decided to blow the kitchen up" he pulled from his pocket a small amount of money and place it on the table "but feel free to eat whatever you wish i have you covered"

Leo wincing at the smack was annoyed. "Owww... incapable of speech? Hm.. weird" he said. looking down and realised he was still wearing the same tattered gi he was wearing the day of the plaza accident.. "I'm going back to Muramasa's..." he mumbled as he grabbed his sword and headed out the door.

Cu smirked under his mask and dug up two tattered bills from his pocket, unsheathing the red-encrusted blade for emphasis that he should have at least enough money now to get him through a day. He did also get a discount at a certain small foodshack, and he preferred to go there rather than make an awkward appearance at fast food chains, where he had difficulty getting the unfortunate cashiers to understand what it is he wanted.

...As if the dangerous aura around him didn't make him stand out enough and a prime target for whispers from the people around him.

Noelle shakes her head, watching Lance and Cu go into the kitchen. Guys were an entirely different species all together.. and maybe if Leo had stopped to consider that the guy might speak using sign language.
Deciding the guys had everything under control, she goes to pick up her bag from where she left it and heads out to do a little light shopping.

Lance made sure everyone was set he was starting to feel trapped inside the building. He made his way out to the balcony and went to jump to the roof from across the alley and slipped on a small puddle of water falling at a fast rate towards the ground "Oh, this is gonna feel lovely" he frowned and tried to filp himself around in time to possibly try and make the falls less painful.

Cu had just exited the building when he saw a flailing form falling towards him.

...That looks like Lance. It would make my day if I just...stepped out of his way, but... He jogged backwards a few paces and caught the other mercenary at a roll, causing both of them to splash into a nearly puddle.

...Puddle, my ass. That thing is a LAKE. He gingerly got to his feet and dumped Lance ungracefully onto the ground.
