It's my internet. Just went out for a bit, and it keeps turning on and off ( the problem's not on my end; I'm fairly tech savvy, so I've done all I can. My ISP isn't reliable anyway. -__- )

We'll probably call time warner ( my isp ) today to see what the hell is happening... again. =A=

I think it turned off and on a good 30 times in the last half an hour.
Time Warner charges us about $100 a month for the service, yet if it goes below 40F degrees, it goes out. If the wind blows it goes out ( probably the issue here, since it just stormed a couple days ago ). Sometimes there are random outages. And you're shit out of luck if it's on a friday, because they can't be bothered to do anything until monday. There was a time we were out of service for a couple weeks because they couldn't be assed to do anything. -___-
But the only other option we have over here, is AT&T and... I think that speaks for itself.

what kind of modem does time warner provide? Is it cable powered?
And there's basically no need to power it down a couple of times since it's basically intermittent connection and in order to fix it, main lines need to be fixed.

Lol, it's cable. The problem is outside, either on the cable attached to the house or on the telephone pole. OTL
Though in past experience.. it's always on the freaking pole. So we always have to have a guy come out here. It's pretty much aftermath from years ago, when the remnants of hurricane Ike kind of held together until it got here, and knocked trees over onto our lines. All they really did was throw caution tape around everything, and then they've been moseying about and fixing it little by little ever since, as problems arise. -___-
I don't live in a middle-class area ( more like upper lower class. ) so I don't think they really give a crap, lol.

We've dealt with them for yyeeeaars, and they drop the ball all the time. We called them yesterday, and we're going to call them again today, but usually, they just kind of leave the machines to do it until the weekdays start again. OTL

One time, my ex dragged me onto Drop Zone, which just takes you ridiculously high in the air and then you just drop... and the whole ride, I did not make a sound, and probably made his arm bleed a good bit from gripping it so tight.
