Drowning and leaving organs sounds violent to me. Does not knowing you're being killed make it less violent, or just more humane? And they're not unpredictable, no, but they do shift into that mode readily, which is what I view as volatile. The fact that that shift happens at all makes them volatile to me.

They are pretty predictable. People know to.stay away from water. Yes they shift forms but to me that doesn't make them volatile. But again. The proof.is in the wand.
But lets just agree to.disagree

It's a shame we don't have an actual wand to prove either of us right.

I thoroughly did enjoy them!!!
And...I would have to say the Elder Wand is the most powerful...but not because of it's wood and core, bit because it has been through so many different and powerful owners. I recall reading that wands retain some of the power of their master. That being said, the wand qas owned by bot Grindiwald and Dumbledore before going on to be Draco's then Harry's, but used by Voldemort. And those are just the four owners (and one user) that we know to be fact... So I say it's most powerful based on it's experiences and owners... That is a good point, Kali. My only issue with that is that... If wands get more powerful with experience and use and all that, and can lose power over certain things, who's to say that their ability won't fade with time and lack of use? And if any wand has had the time for that, it's certainly this one.
Again, of course, none of my points matter if we go with the Death thing, but... Without that, it all kind of falls apart for me. ![]() ![]()

Is it possible that the wood and the core combo makes it more retaining and less likely to loose power? (hasn't done the research so throwing out possibilities then gonna go back and read to see if I'm dumb)
