... ??? I think I know what you're talking about?
I color a base layer and then lock transparency and color on top of that?
Otherwise I just color wherever and then use an eraser to clean the lines.

for painting, I've only succeeded using watercolor. I tried acrylics, and it was very.. uh.. bad. :D I tried painting a fish scene. It was ... blue, with green wiggles for seaweed, and a big orange fish blob. Lol...;;; I think I shredded it.

The most memorable thing that made me want to throw things was a big bottle of ramune. Brown and green... ;n;

Kind of like that.. Locking transparency, you're just working on the same layer, but at least you don't have to fix the stuff outside of it owo

I want to try acrylics, but I heard it's extremely messy.

rofl xD. I think the artist that did that one is no longer part of staff.

It was very messy. my grandmother bought me a set however, so I felt obliged to use them at least once. I think I'll try again soon... *shudders*

There are other items that are good, but not.. what I would publish. There are a lot of items like that, actually. ;_;
