it's a matter of getting enough words that you actively use words you don't typically think of. Like, as opposed to big you can use: huge, large, immense, gargantuan, monolithic, oversized, or ponderous
eventually you'll be like 'hey, brain, these words are more fun than the boring ones'!

Oh I do use the word huge from time to time. and Gigantic when I really think I need to express something in a large way XD ha ha I used them just for the hell of it.

It is interesting that you can use different words just to make an explanation sound so much more entertaining and exciting.

certain people haaaaaaate my use of words cause they think I'm talking down to them, but it's worse if I dumb it down*, then I'm talking down to you.

*doesn't count if I'm explaining something I said cause I used a different word, then i'm not talking down, I'm educating.

it's sorta like 'know your audience' if you know you're going to spend more time explaining and conversing it's just not worth it to use the fifty cent words.
