Ah, I see.

I think, deep down, Malfoy was actually once good of heart, but we all know what peer pressure can do to a teen.

Especially if their parents jump on the bandwagon. D:

It Won't Stop
Not much was said in series about Puff rooms because they're the only place Harry didn't get to. But, it was elaborated on in Pottermore, something which us lovely Puffs got to see~

And about Malfoy, it's so true... Poor boy.

Malfoy was one of my favorite characters, because I hated him with every fiber of my being. It takes a lot for me to be on a hate train about someone. Him and Snape. I think he was good of heart all the time, he was just jaded and went about the execution the wrong way. Tough love, as they say.

Yes, fortunately he had his mother to look out for him in the end and so did not fall prey to Voldemort's vengeance. Lucius... well, he is just too cocky and superior to really earn much pity, even though in Voldemort's final years he made Lucius's life... well, rather difficult by his own standards.

EDIT: D'oh! Snape! How could I forget him >_>. I think it was insecurity which brought out the monster in him in his younger years, a monster which was ultimately beaten by love...

Lucius could die in a fiery pit of suck for all I cared. There was no love in my heart for him, even through my hatred.

And I loved the guy who played him in the movies. PERFECT.

Jason Isaacs does play that role beautifully well. He has a similar role in Captain Hook in the 200...3? Peter Pan. But now... he's on t.v.

Ah hahah. He is Hook? Nice~

I also thought Tom Felton did wonderfully. But Alan Rickman, by far... the best.

Yes and his Hook also shows a little bit of vulnerability as well; he is not completely devoid of emotions (though most of them are indeed malicious).
Yes Tom Felton really showed his stuff and Alan Rickman... definitely the star. I mean Radcliffe did well but the role didn't ask quite as much of him as Snape did of Rickman. And he delivered.

Radcliff never actually sold me, though. Sure, he looked the part, but I always felt his delivery lacked. Much like Rupert. Emma, though, was fantastic.

Book!Sirius was definately one of my favorites. Gary Oldman was nice and all, but his script just wasn't as awesome as the original role.

I never had a problem with any of the trio actors, really. They fit the roles for me. But Ron... always annoyed me. Book and movie. Same goes for Sirius.

Snap!
I like Snape because of how mean he is. Rickman did a great job portraying this character in the movies.

I like that there is a reason to it, though. Meanness isn't exactly an attractive trait but his bitterness is understandable. He resents Harry for his resemblance (in appearance and, he perceives, in behavior) to James, who tormented Severus when they were young.
