I love my Mom but she has battered women's syndrome horribly. She is engaged to a guy she has dated for five years and is scared to sell her other home because she wants to have a home incase he leaves her. She also refuses to have a joint bank account or to put his name of her cars or home.

She also doesn't know we are engaged because she would flip shit. Why we are leaning on a two bedroom, incase we would break up.

No this man would be her third husband when they got married. My mother owns two houses and lives in a third that her fiancé owns. My dad is dead, and between my dad and her first husband she is afraid of a lot of things that comes with marriage.

And she didn't like Alpha's dad cause his Dad is a d**k. There for she doesn't like Alpha.

Yeah, I have been on that rant for 2 years.... but eh that statement at the end of it is his Mom is a sweetheart and willing to cosign on the lease so I really don't need her consent but I would prefer it. Because otherwise I see a court battle to gain access to my left over payments from where the state paid my Mom to make sure that I was taken care of and they were suppose to go to me when I turned 18.... I have 20 K in the bank that I can't touch.

She never gave it to me she had me sign it over to an account that she swore i will gain access to once I finish college. That is seeming further and further away since I now need to go to grad school.
