Has anyone read The Millenium Series by Stieg Larsson yet? The books currently released so far are The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played With Fire, and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest.

I personally have only read the first book and a little bit of the second so far, but have really loved it. <3 It's an incredibly intense, very thrilling and just an incredible read, imo. <3
Though fair warning, it's also got some pretty dark themes so I don't suggest those under 17/18 years old or those who have an active/visual imagination that are squeamish/scared easily. :3;;



So what did y'all think about it? Love it, like it, neutral opinion, dislike it, hate it? :0

I've only read the first book as well, and I am looking forward to the second one. I love how Salander kicks butt, But I also feel sorry for her.

I love how Lisbeth kicks butt too, though I don't think she'd take pity. So not like her to. P:

I also feel like I can relate to her really well, just not at the same extremes in all areas (such as how she'd been raped, has been declared insane/legally imcompetent by the government, how she's sometimes a lesbian, and how she smokes).
But how she's been treated by the general public, constantly misunderstood, always judged by appearance and a few other things that aren't coming to mind right now, yeah I really understand her through and through. >w<

I just wish I had an eidetic memory like her. *w* <3
Would be so freakin' awesome! X'3 Though it'd also make it harder to keep the bad memories down...but it'd be a sacrifice worth having, imo. :3
