Drows, also known as dark elves. Commonly are looked down upon or shunned by other races. Man sees them as creatures of dark, the embodiment of everything evil. Called the black devils by some, worse such names by others. Though the stories are true that the Drow live in darkness and tend to stay clear of the light, not because it's a weakness or because they cannot venture there. But because their eyes are sensitive to lights, any lights that are found within a Drow city are hardly something that other races, who cannot see in the darkness, would use.

Unknown to most there are a number of different clans of these elves, just like any other race some are weaker then others. Not all Drow hold the same beliefs or even follow the teaching of old anymore. They are more tempered or quick to anger then most races, some compare them to the dragonkin when they are angered as a way to compare their strength.

Though this tale isn't about all of that, no this is about one of the larger clans. One of the few remaining large clans of the northern region of the world. This clan still hold true to killing any other in their territory, though they have good reason two. Their kind commonly killed each other for whatever reason they saw fit, mostly to prove who was the strongest. Though this clan had been left alone and to it's own for years, to keep the old ways of a society run by the females. Yes there were males in power as well but they did well to keep their heads down when the other gender spoke.

But this tale isn't about politics and who the current Queen is of this clan. This one starts during a more peaceful time even with the houses threaten to wage war upon one another inside the clans boarders. At the present time this is not where the story takes place. No it follows two the lives of two young children...
