Something was a miss the whole school was in an uproar about an 'apparent' scandal that was in the making, some had said that the headmaster had been having relations with one of the students. Of course this was just speculation as such things would never happen at the Whitehill School for young gentlemen. It was an all boy school with all male teachers, not to mention only the truly rich got into the school so such a scandal was unlikely; but still one truly never did know what secrets where hidden behind the closed doors of each room and how many stories each wall could tell.

Two boys starting their first year midway through the school year and are now having to deal with the schools 'apparent' scandal, but also try and find their place within the school not to easy as every new student is now treated with suspicion...

Marcus walked into the school for the first time, he was dressed in a fine white shirt, silk crimson waistcoat, black dress trousers and matching jacket everything that he needed had been sent to the school already. He didn't understand why he had been sent to the school he had been happy being home-schooled, but he thought it was more to do with him being recluse due to being unable to socialize with anyone his own age. He wasn't going to argue with his parents he knew even though he was their child a strict punishment waited him if he misbehaved.

Listening to the boy who was escorting him to his room he nodded as he was told the rules and the goings on. His deep sea blue eyes taking in the pictures on the wall, his jet colored hair neatly lay on his back tied back with a simple crimson silk ribbon. Normally such long hair wasn't seen on nobles but he refused to have it shortened and his parents gave him what he wanted as he was their only child.

Before he knew it the boy had stopped in front of a door and opened it “This is your room, keep it clean there will be nightly checks, your room-mate will be arriving shortly” he say walking off leaving Marcus to his own devices. Walking into the room he looked around moving to a near by door he seen a small library, a white oak table with a piece of paper on it. Moving deeper in to the room he opened a door revealing a room that seemed to be a bathroom. He noticed two other doors and went to opened them, they both had four poster beds with deep red velvet drapes and purple silk sheets, a white oak wardrobe and white oak desk with parchment, ink pot and feather quill.

Walking back into the main room there was furnishings fit for someone of their stations “I will wait before unpacking, he may wish the room I choose” he say with a yawn moving to a chair, he closed his eye humming wondering what his new 'friend' was going to be like, and what his new tutors would be like, he knew in time however all would be revealed so worried about it not.

Alexander could feel the breeze fly through the unprotected glass panels as the carriage moved slowly at times and quiet fast at other times towards Alexander's newest destination, Whitehill School for Young Gentlemen, an all-boys school that his mother had objected him from going there and threatened to take his inherance away if he did decide to attend but his father had made his mother agree for him to attend. Alexander felt that he had to since he had heard a conversation of his parents about wanting for them to be alone now...without Alexander. Alexander stared at the carpetted carriage flooring as they turned another corner into the school grounds and come to a sudden stop.

Alexander could hear a rather loud clank and heard several pieces of wood break as the carriage driver got off the seat of his own to open the door. Alexander stared at the directions of where the movement was coming from as he then heard a louder 'clamp' sound and saw the door begin to open, he let out a slight smile before standing and began to step out, his rather fakish smile on his face stood alive. "Thank You...James..." He told an overweight man as he was helped out of the carriage, he could do it himself but the last time he had done it he had his left arm in wraps of cloth for weeks to heal the broken bone within.

After several minutes of etting the suitcases down from the other end of the carriage a tall male came out and soon directed Alexander inside, he never got a chance to say goodbye...or welcome. Alexander carried his two suitcase with little strenght...he grew up with a soldier as a father...he needed to be strong. Alexander didn't really paid attention as the taller male told him the guildlines and what will be happening around the area, Alexander had learned to nod at certain points from past dinners with his father's gentlemen friends. Alexander's appricote coloured eyes stared straight ahead, it looked like they were in a hallway with much grander rooms as the doors were seperated about more and more. His dark oak wood hair flew gently in the window breeze, his hair bein of ear lenght as his mother thought that it was the next generation style of Head appearance. His clothing was grand...soft white cashiemer shirt...his black dress pants had the hints of egyptian cotton within them...and his jacket was exactly the same as well. His shoes has strings of indian cloth within them.

Alexander watched as the taller male opened up a certain door and gently shoved Alexander in the room with his suitcases, "This is your room mate Alexander...you shall be sharing...now if you excuse me..." The taller said as he quietly disappeared after the door was closed. Alexander looked at the door slightly shocked for a moment before shaking it away and looking at the other, "Uh....How do you do?" Alexander said to the other as he bent his head downwards slightly in greeting.

Seeing the door open Marcus instantly stood up, he wasn't at home and he hadn't settled in yet so he was both jumpy and anxious at his new surroundings, he knew he had no reason to be as he was perfectly safe in his new surroundings but still he couldn't help how his body reacted. Brushing his long jet black hair he looked to the other for a moment studying him with his deep sea blue eyes. He took note of how the other's hair sat and his dress sense.

Walking forward he placed his hand out “How do you do, I'm Marcus Alexander Calder” he say with a quaint tone, he was still unsure about the other, but on first appearance they seemed like they where from the same social class, but then again if he wasn't then he wouldn't have been here right. “We have been given a forty-eight hours grace period to get sorted and to wander around to get to know the area” he say, his voice was quite formal but it was easy to tell he wasn't use to being so social.

Waiting for the other to introduce himself he smiled and walked back to the two dozen suitcases that where already in the room “Would you like the left or right room?” he would enquire, he had no idea why he had so much baggage but then it was his mother who packed everything and she 'always' over packed, he looked to the black leather suitcases and sighed a little shaking his head a little, his jet black hair moving with even the slightest movement.

Alexander's eyes scanned the room, he did not notice the human being that was in the room already. Looking at the room for a couple of seconds he heard a different voice and looked at the male...the longish hair near shoulder made Alexander raise his eyebrow for a moment...he never saw anyone in his district with hair as long as that, well he did once...but that person was about to be excuteed. Looking at the hand for a second he dropped one of the suitcases and went to shake the other's hand.

" Very pleased to meet you Marcus. My name is Alexander Ecclestone Woods..." Alexander said with a small smile as he shook the other's hand, his tone was calm, his thoughts of the other were good as well...they may get along...they may not...but they would have to live together. After a few seconds Alexander gently closed the door and followed the other, alongside his four suitcases towards where the two dozen suitcases were. Alexander was surprised but then again, he was having a few delieved here in a couple of days. Smiling slightly he looked at Marcus as he asked a question of which room he would take. Looking at him he then spoke, " May I take the left if you don't mind?" Alexander politly asked with a smile.

As his hand was taken and they shook a smile crossed his face "The pleasure is all mine" he say in a warm, pleasant tone. He noticed that his new roommate was a little startled at the baggage "My mother insisted on packing, why I will need so much I have no idea" he sigh shaking his head "But who am I to argue with the one who gave me breath" he chuckle a little.

On hearing the others room choice he nodded "Please feel free, I was waiting before taking a room in case you wanted it" he say truthfully as he picked up two of his bags and made his way into the room "Alexander..." he called beginning to unpack "I'm guessing we will want to know as much about each other as possible" he knew they would both want to know each other as they would be as close as siblings while here. "So why don't we take it in turns to ask questions? You can go first if you like" he say as he placed a silver colored petticoat into one of the drawers "Might need to ask my mother to send a large chest of drawers" he whisper to himself

((Marcus's hair doesn't stop at shoulder length but at the small of his back))

Alexander still had his half fake smile on his jaw-line as he was then directed towards the rooms. His eyes took in the area once again before he looked at the other, "Your mother may be over protective...and find this is the only way she can care for you..." Alexander told the other, his fake smile slowly creeping away as he then listened to the other, " Thank you very much..." Alexander told the other before he went and began to unpack as well...

As he was unpacking, he was given enough room to place his belongings away and was currently placing his shirts away when he heard the other, looking to him Alexander gave him a slight nod, "Yes...I believe that would be the best idea to get to know eachother first...but in honestly...I don't know where to begin...so you may start if you please..." Alexander told the other calmly.

Marcus listened to everything that was said to him and tilted his head some, his jet black hair now away from his back and touching the ground as he continued to unpack "I guess that is true, my mother has always been this way" he say with a sigh, when ever he went out it was always with a chaperone and even at functions was never left alone in case the worst should happen.

"I'm only here because my father through it was unhealthy" he say placing some dress trousers into a drawer on hearing he could start he smiled a little "Okay, what kind of family do you come from" he ask it was an important question for them both he though. After all he knew he didn't want to be in a room with riff raff

Alexander nodded slightly as he was placing several dress shoes under the bed as he was listening to the other, just nodding to himself when he was asked the question. Standing up for a moment he looked up at the ceiling for a moment, thinking before he would even dare speak...I guess you could say he is of Upper-classed in Society.
"I do believe you could say my family if of High Society...I believe...my parents really never told me anything about my family...but I knew that they're were people less forunate than I...and What family do you come from?" Alexander asked as he than sat on his bed, staring at the ceiling once again, he had just spent a couple of days in the carriage...he lived a long distance away.

Marcus listened to everything that was said as he continued to unpack "My lord this is going to take days to unpack" he say with a quiet voice as he placed another set of trousers away "My mother is a Duchess, my father is an Earl" he say with a small yawn "My father is an officer in her majesty's army, and hopes I shall follow in his footsteps..." he say with a sigh "My mother wants me to be like some pampered cat" he say placing another set of trousers into the drawer.

"Does your father fight for her majesty?" he ask with smile, he wanted to stop unpacking, but he knew there would be an inspection before they started classes

Alexander looked at the other as he was told that Marcus' mother was a Duchess and his father was an Earl. Alexander was certainly impressed...heavily but when the question came back to Alexander he shrugged slightly before shaking his head, "Uh no...He doesn't fight for the Majesty's Army...He fights for the French Royal Army...while my mother is a duchess as well...but not within England..." Alexander stated as he stood up and son continued with packing away, his father is french while his mother is within British Blood...but has gained the title Duchess within the European conditent.

Marcus stopped unpacking for a moment as he heard the other speak "If you come from France, why are you in a British school? It seems a rather long way for education" he say in all honesty, but then sighed knowing the answer 'parents'. finishing unpacking his trousers he moved to unpack his overwhelming shoe collection "Your family seem like a respectable one" his voice showed no insult was ever intended by what was said, it was an observation.

"Does your father expect you to follow in his footsteps Alexander?" he would inquire taking out the first pair of black dress shoes that had been polished so much you could see your reflection from them even in the dark

Alexander stared at the other as he stopped, listening to him he gave a slight shrug, "I believe it's for my own safety...since many soliders have already been assianated by people of the German Empire...and my father is on several hit lists..." The Italians...Germans..SPanish...basically an unwanted person. Alexander smiled at the respectable comment as he gently placed his undergarmets away, "Your's seem also..." Alexander commented as he then began to pack away his dress shirts.

Alexander was carefully placing them down, trying not to wrinkle them when he heard the question, "No...He does not...not in this time anyway...He told me he would rather have me shipped to the America than work for British or French royalship...He believes of an republican government...and he was forced into the army..." Alexander explained as he closed the drawers and closed his suitcases...he'd need a trunk or something else to place the rest of his clothing. " What part of the Britian are you from?" Alexander asked, staring at his drawers.

Marcus yawned a little placing his hand over his mouth once more as he did so "Over here nobility get assassinated all the time" he say quietly as he placed another set of shoes under his bed "I am so wrapped up in wool my mother would hide me from the light of day if she knew I knew about the assassinations" he say with a sigh. Hearing the other approve on his breed he smiled "I am glad you approve" he say happily checking one the pair of shoes in his hand letting out a growl 'numb skulls' he though placing them to one side as he would have to re-polish them after he was finished unpacking.

Marcus looked to Alexander for a moment as he spoke about not following in his father's footsteps and thought for a long minute "It's tradition in my family..." he say with a sad tone "I actually want to be a doctor" he say honestly "No son of mine is going to become a doctor, you will be come an officer in her majesty's army like your father and my father before me" he say mimicking the last talk he had with his father then lowered his head "My apologies, it just irritates me my path has been chosen and I am not allowed to come from it" he say with a smile

"There is a trunk by the wardrobe and a small one at the foot of the bed" he say pointing to them, he looked at his shoes once more and sighed placing them under the bed "I live in Mayfair, how about you?" he inquire with a yawn wondering why they couldn't have just paid someone to do this for him days before he had actually arrived "Do you have any medical conditions?" he ask

Alexander's orbs that were his eyes looked away from his dresser, sighing for a moment before he went and pushed the the suitcases under his bed but made sure he did not touch the shoes that were placed under there. Alexander looked at the other as he talked about the all-the-time assassinations, he just stared at him, " My mother is not someone you would expect...she likes to fight...she'd put up a fight before dying..." Alexander commented as he sat on his bed again, he didn't really know what to do at the moment.

Alexander's attention was then dragged back right at Marcus once again as the other imitated his father, Alexander could feel the hurt...the anger in the other's town, " I do see why your father wants you to become a soldier...but he doesn't see the bad sides to it..what if you don't marry and don't have any children...not even a love-child your family name will be lost probably..." Alexander said with great passion as he got up from his bed and looked at the other, "And you don't seem the fighting type my friend..." Alexander said truthfully as he stared at the other, his hands placed on his hips in a powerful pose.

Alexander ignored the trunks within the room and began to walk around it, to get the blood within his legs boiling with movement. When the other told where he was from Alexander smirked. "Mayfair huh? I've never been there before...I'm from the Versailles District within Paris...but I have made homes in Connemara in West Ireland and recently in Glasgow where I just came from..." Alexander explained as he walked, he was most active when walking. Hearing the other question he stopped and thought for a moment before shaking his head, " I believe not...how about you Marcus?"
