Default Have you ever had one of those days where you just have a feeling it's not going to..   #1  
Be a bad day.

Yah i've had plenty of these kind of days they suck when they happen especially when you've already had a bad day before sometime in the week.

Have you ever had one of those days? and if so how bad? and how'd you get through it with out breaking down in anger, frustration, and the like? i find when you talk to others about stuff like this it helps ^^

Yeah, I've had those days, and they're NOT fun to survive through. I usually have to find one good thing and hold on to it mentally as though it were a life boat off the Titanic. How bad? Well, I try not to dwell on them, so I'm sure some have been pretty bad, but I refuse to remember. As for getting over them, I tend to rant to my best friend, my friends on-line, and my roommate.... Otherwise I feel like I'll explode. But on a few occasions I have broken down and screamed and cried and done all that fun stuff too.
I've gone to look for myself, if I should return before I get back keep me here.

*nodds* same here the only problem is that when i go to try and do something like forget the day ever happened i keep remembering it >.< i have a really good memory so things that caused an effect whether bad or good get stuck in my head so i can't erase or forget about them D: witch can be quite frustrating in itself

I have an actual mantra to help me, not necessarily forget...but...think around things like that. When I start recalling something that bugs me I just say it, think of something non-stressful, and hopefully move on.
I've gone to look for myself, if I should return before I get back keep me here.

You want to borrow my thought wolf? He doesn't have a name but he shows up and rips all those icky memories that I want to forget into tiny little pieces.

Sounds a little silly, I'll admit that, but I have the same problem you do, bloodgirl. I get things that I would rather forget and I've found sometimes that imagining the destruction of the image or the thought can help as a sort of meditation of sorts to at least get some degree of 'revenge' on the thought even if it doesn't make it go away for long.

It's something I picked up from a story my Aunt told me, of how she would imagine a big lion next to her as she walked home from school through a wooded area she didn't like. My thought wolf was my first incarnation, but sometimes I imagine those thoughts disappearing into bursts of fireworks until the little pieces all fade away. It does take some persistance and practice, but it helps get the thought out of my mind at the moment.

Telling yourself that it's going to be a bad day usually just makes it a bad day because you put yourself in that anger, frustration, and intolerance of things from the beginning that you wouldn't normally feel. I've done it before, so I know how it goes.

I had one of those days yesterday >< They usually start with a really bad dream and the rest of the day is hard for me because the dream sits at the front of my mind and makes it hard for me to even WANT to do anything to distract myself.
The best way for me to get over it is spending time with my beloved but because we're bonded so well sometimes our bad days are the same ^^; But we work through it and usually it only lasts a day or two :3
