I miss posting here.
Events and whatnot.

Like, I keep logging on hoping for activity, but it feels like watching paint dry.

I want to say more, and do have questions but I’m like lost on how to put them out there lol

Yea, I just think we need like mini events here and there to help with activity.
Wouldn’t mind some little item releases either but lol

You'd have to ask Galla on that one. Speaking of which, I need to grab something.

Events are not solely up to me. Any event requires some reward, even if new items are not involved (though they are preferable), as well as people available to both set up the behind the scenes work required as the forum facing work required.

I have previously done a great deal of work leading events and making sure that they not only happen but also happen to our usual standards, but I am not actually on board as an event coordinator, nor do I have access to all parts required to make an event functional... I'm rather incapable of handling all aspects of an event on my own, and our most recent events have had some significant complications because of it.

This is not me saying 'no' to the possibility of another event. Rather, I am saying that the more I have to take on myself, the more time I need to have available to do it in, and I currently do not have such time. If the rest of the team would like to take on the efforts of arranging things, I am happy to do what I can to provide assistance (as well as my usual work alongside our artists, of course).

i'd be up for taking on some more work in regards to the site, but i'd need to have some guidance on that, since it's not something i've done before.

Of course, I am happy to train you in any field you'd like to try taking on, assuming it's one I'm qualified to give training with.

Events generally have a lot of moving pieces. Either a thread or forum specifically designated for the event, rewards and methods to earn/redeem them, as well as forum games to help users both with ways to post and provide additional rewards to help complete their event collections.

In the case of rewards, depending on what folks want, we could plan for new items, recycling old items that are no longer available, or creating alternate versions of old items (or a mix of the 3, ofc).

One more note before I'm off, if there is enough interest, I am also not opposed to arranging it so that user run games for the event can also offer rewards the way that official games do. We'd just have to discuss matters ahead of time so rewards can be approved.

I have just returned after years of forgetting about this site and I am slightly disappointed it is not as active as it once was.
Trisphee is not well known and is not well marketed so there is a lack of new members. Lack of events and activity deters current members. It is a snowball effect. Less activity leads to less interest in the site. Less interest in the site leads of less activity.
This place has a lot of potential but it is up to the admins and owners to liven it up.

i've been advertising in places like tumblr and wafrn (fediverse tumblr), but i don't think i can do much else without approval. mind you, i am perhaps a slight hardass about getting prior authorization for things orz

Another part of the issue is avatar communities is such a niche market. Sites like Gaia was quite popular and kinda shined the light on this market to others but that did not really last long in comparison to other social media platforms such as Facebook and X.
The forums layout are outdated in comparison to Facebook or X layouts. I feel the same about another site I used to frequent Cybernations. Nation simulation game. Great game and community honestly. The game itself is bland but the community made up for it. Was fun when I first joined in 2006. But the design and layout is still largely the same and there has not been much updates. CN has grown stale and the community suffered as a result.

Events with re-issued old items would be good :0 Until newer ones can be made perhaps?
