Let the Spirits rest! | #1
Last night, I decided to tidy up my room because it really needed a good cleaning since it's been a while since I cleaned my room (and there were ants in it). As I was vacuuming my carpet, I heard a click, and my vacuum cleaner turned off. I know it wasn't my baby brother because my bedroom door was closed, and I was next to the vacuum cleaner too, which means it was a ghost! I turned on the vacuum cleaner, but decided I should tell my mom. After that, I went back to vacuum my room, then I cleaned the bathroom, and then the walls... anyways, yes, the ghost turned off the vacuum... but only once, though.

Ah, of course. We've had ghosts opening closed doors in our house since we moved in in 2010. Also, ghost cats that leap up onto my bed when I'm in a room where the live kitties are in the other room. I know the weight of a cat leaping up onto the end of the mattress and it's happened a few times enough for my little dog Winnie to lift an ear in interest to see who's there. And there isn't anyone. Maybe that's part of the reason why she wants me to go to the other room, where if it feels like a kitty is on the bed, it's because live kitties are there to jump up or down to it. You know, up from the floor, down from the dresser. Kitties she can see, .none of these invisible kitties thank you.

![]() I've had ghost cats jumping on my bed too! I wonder if it's my cat's ghost that used to jump on my bed. I do miss her a lot... and it's been 7 years since she's been gone. Do they open locked doors too? I'd hate for them to open the bathroom door while I'm showering or using the toilet. ![]() ![]() Quote:

My family abounds with ghost stories, we call them the 'family ghosts' haha. They've done stuff like force themselves through the foam glass balcony doors when there was no wind, so that the glass shattered all over the living room
![]() I once had a ghost boy in my room- because my brother and I sleep in separate beds. I felt a weight on me and saw his pajama shirt, pushed him up off me and turned to the side to see my brother asleep in his bed. I turn the opposite side and see the ghost boy's head over the edge of my bed, he's sitting leaning against the edge of my bed. And I was too sleep-delirious to realise it was a ghost or he wasn't supposed to be there and he wasn't my brother. It all hit me in the morning.

My grandmother is in my house most of the time. She makes her presence and displeasure known by making clicking noises in a part of the kitchen. All it takes to get her to calm down is I have a picture of her and me when I was born and in front of it a candle. She just wants me to keep loving and acknowledging her. :)
Sternum: a lot of times when we sleep we are actually not, and just tapping/living in our other dimension. There are 10-11 multiverses according to theoretical physicist, and they say that past/present/future are all occurring at the same time and some of us can actually tap into those other dimensions and see and feel things when we wake up from being with other people in those dimensions.

Not 10-11 alternate universes. When they say "dimension" they mean geometric dimension, not "parallel dimension". The short version of the theory is that particles are vibrating in directions other than just the three dimensions that we're familiar with, directions that we're not capable of perceiving.
The idea of past/present/future "happening at the same time" is a little bit of a contradiction. If it's at the same time, then it's not a flow of time, so you can't really call it "past" and "future". What the physicists mean when they describe it that way is more like... imagine a movie reel, every moment in the movie is right there on the spool in your hands, one big solid object that exists as a unified whole. I've heard it described as a crystal. That's not to say that parallel existences are impossible. Nothing about the above rules that out; all I'm trying to do here is pin down the concrete claims so that you understand what it is you're saying. There are some theories known as "configuration space" that describe not only our universe but all possible universes and how they relate to each other.
