Randy VIII rushed to the hospital as soon as he'd heard about Seven. He knew what Kurt was capable of, and he knew that his brother's immune system was compromised. The news wasn't bound to be good at all... God damn it, Seven. It was one time where looking after his little brother would be more harm than help.

[Red Lion]

Seven's condition had been stabilized, but his eyes had been bandaged so they could heal and due to his compromised system there would potentially by issues with the tissue of his arm healing....

Randy VIII was relieved to find that his brother was stable, but deeply concerned nonetheless. "Why'd you have to go an' mess with Kurt?" he wondered aloud.

[Red Lion]

"Cause he hurt you... I was gonna get rid of him for good when I found out how nuts he is," said Seven.

[uncledaddy]

"Don't you go near 'im again!" Randy VIII warned with a growl. "He coulda killed you! If I'da known you was gonna get involved, I woulda told you right off. You think I'd be this involved with him if he was just an average human? Stay the fuck away from Kurt!"

[Red Lion]

Seven groped around blindly for his brother's hand, "I think I learned my lesson...but Baby Boy I don't want you near him either. He's not right, he's got so many emotions mixing around in him I think it's made him crazy," he said.

Randy VIII sighed and held Seven's hand, giving it a nuzzle. "I know," he said softly, though audible underlying tension remained in his voice. "But you know I can't just stay away. If this is gonna end, we're gonna end it face-to-face." The more his spoke, the more of the previous growl returned. His intentions were clear: knowingly baited or not, he was going after Kurt.

[Red Lion]

"You know he only lef' me alive cause he wants you to go after him..." said Seven, running his fingers over Randy VIII's cheek.

[uncledaddy]

"Yeah... Well, he's gonna get what he wants," said Randy VIII. "Don't nobody get away with this."

[Red Lion]

"Eight, you know I love you...but this gotta end, this thing you got with Kurt, it ain't healthy, that man ain't healthy," said Seven.

[uncledaddy]

"It just might," Eight replied ominously. He gave Seven a gentle kiss. "I love you, big brother. I'm going to get him."

[Red Lion]

"You be careful!" said Seven.

Randy VIII stroked his hair in response before heading out the door. No matter what Seven had done--or tried to do--to Kurt, he wasn't about to stand for anyone attacking his big brother. The fact that Kurt not only would have killed him, but had only not done so to use him as bait only made Randy VIII angrier. A bellowing growl rose up in his chest to announce his presence as he neared Kurt's home, knowing that Kurt would be waiting for him out of sight. He lowered his shades and sensed for Kurt rather than simply bursting through the gate.

Kurt was hidden among his roses, waiting for Randy VIII to get close before he pounced...

As soon as Randy VIII realized where Kurt was, he froze, locking his eyes on the rose bushes. He might have smiled had this been a "normal" encounter, knowing that Kurt intended to use his allergy against him. As it was, though, he took a few purposeful steps toward the roses in order to draw Kurt out of them.

Kurt tensed, like a coiling snake, but he did not move from his roses...Randy was going to have to go in and get him or give up now...
