Intro Post

Man soon learned after they started exploring the vast reaches of space that they were not the only ones out there. But this story is not about the humans, oh no it is about a young girl and a traveler whose fates seemed to have crossed paths when they never should have. Both stranded on the one lush and beautiful planet of Argitha. A planet now over run with cut throats and outlaws. Just out of reach of the Enforcers grasp, the laws of the systems do not uphold here and never will.

The strange traveler is in need of ship repairs after crash landing onto this forsaken planet and the girl is looking for a way to leave. Though her deal has been keeping her foster parents alive, so long as she complied with the thugs that infested her world. Her only blessing was that she was the only mechanic within a few months journey of the crash site. Odds where this stranger didn't have the currency they used here so striking a deal to pay for the parts and repairs would be the only way he would see himself off of this dust bowl of a planet.

Appearance:
Skills: Repair specialist; from computers to vehicles, give her some tools and he can probably fix it or at least make it work long enough to get someone more skilled to do so.
Background: She had lived on this forsaken planet that seems to lay just outside of the federations reach. A small planet that once was lush and alive, now turned into a wasteland and a hiding place for a number of outlaws who are staying under the radar. Her childhood more or less was stolen from her as her father was lost during the war of the planets when she was a mere tot. Not too many years after that her mother fell ill, there was a cure but with no funds there was little anyone wanted to do to help.

A local farmer and his wife gladly took the girl in who had no where else to go. The couple was human, it was looked down upon to help non humans on this planet. Even with the warnings of being outcast and threats against their well being the couple never shunned the girl. The three endured a number of hardships and trials over the years as she grew older and the land became more and more barren. Through it all they seemed to survive, as a family. Though this was not to last forever either...

As more and more outlaws found out there were still resources to be found on the out laying planets things started to revert back to the time right after the war. People were murdered in cold blood, innocents slain right where they stood. The only thing that saved Verdia and her adoptive family was that they had the knowledge to bring life to this dying planet. A skill that was being forgotten across the worlds, technology replaced most manual labor. Over the years she also found she had another calling... her skills with repairing almost anything that held moving parts kept the raiders off of their backs. Though at the same time this also encouraged the outlaws to seek this planet out to get a quick repair outside of the laws reach.
