Default Watching TV = Getting Depression   #1
I was listening to the radio and they guy on the radio said that Women who watch 3+ hours of TV a day are 13% more likely to get depression then women who don't watch any TV.

Due to:
Less physical activities (thats me)
Less social activities (thats me)
something else I forget

@+@ maybe I will get depression! Though I do walk and bike to work and I stand and walk at my jobs I just don't do any sports or physical activities for leisure.

I don't believe that. I think it depends on your current life and what you watch. Cause if your life is like a Jerry Springer show...and you watch that...you might get depressed thinking about how stupid the people on the show look...and your life is like that...except not on tv.

And define watching tv...mine is on....but I'm not fully watching them.

And I think physical activity is good as helping prevent depression, but it won't be able to stop you from getting that way...and social activities? I try to do those, but then my friends don't show up or anything so that doesn't help.

Just saying-there's two sides to the coin. I wouldn't worry about it.

I guess it depends on the show? I watch lots of comedies, and they tend to make my day better. The only time I get depressed while watching TV would be when the series ends on a cliffie and you have to wait 3-5 months for the new series to start.

I think that it's not watching tv that can correlate to it, it's the fact that you're not keeping yourself (read; your thoughts)occupied. As a BPDII afflicted person, whenever I sit around mindlessly, worries and such tend to overwhelm, which makes depression worse.
That's just my opinion on it.

I think that walking and biking to work is a great way to get exercise? How many miles do you pull?
