Tagging this with a mature rating for possible language and gore.
"Reece, we're moving out," the rebel, Gaston, said to Reece. The two of them were about to lead a liberation mission against the brutal aliens who invaded Earth a little over a year ago. Reece pulled on the too-tight collar of the workers' uniform he was wearing to get inside the small production factory. He and Gaston were to get inside the building by posing as two of the workers and then they had, to put it simply, liberate the workers there. It was the first time the rebel group would attempt this type of mission, but everyone seemed excited about it, including Reece. Suddenly Gaston reached over to flick Reece's bangs further into his face. "Gotta cover up your face as much as possible y'know," he told him. And he was right. The patch over his left eye and the scars that marred the left side of his face only increased the aliens' suspicions, and their risk of being caught before the mission even started. "Alright, let's go. Hopefully this is the beginning of the revolt," Reece said with a smile. Before he moved out from cover however, he checked to make sure his weapons were safe and not visible. These weapons included a small but powerful laser tucked into his pants at his back, and a large hunting knife secured at his calf underneath his pants. He and Gaston then left their cover and walked out into the street towards the small factory to the north. It was a good target actually, since it was pretty secluded near the edge of the city. The only buildings near it were a few residences and the school St. Ann Marie Academy. They walked along as inconspicuous as possible, with their heads down and their eyes focused at the ground. Those who had submitted to the invading force always walked like this, because if they showed any type of resistance they were punished. It was about 7:00 in the morning, so actual factory workers were on their way to work, and kids were on their way to the school nearby to learn how to subdue to the aliens who ruled over them. Reece hated seeing all of those kids walking along to such a "school". The youngest ones especially, since they were learning from such a young age that they were supposedly inferior. Sometimes he had the urge to grab one of them and just take them with him to the rebel base, freeing them from such a life. But he couldn't think so recklessly, especially at a time like this. He just had to let them walk past him, hoping that by going on missions like these he could eventually help to liberate the entire world from these fiends. With this thought he walked alongside his fellow rebel to make the first step in revolution for the entire human race. [Hope this is a decent setup. It's been a while so sorry if it has some issues heh.]

"And once the invasion of the Leaders was complete, the Leaders graciously solved the problems with over-population," the recorder monotonously spewed out. "Choosing at random, they s-"
Snap! The tape recording was turned off. "It's as though they thought we weren't there," thought its only listener. West sighed and threw the tape recorder away as he saw St. Ann Marie Academy in sight. It was ominous behind the rising sun, just as ominous as its new curriculum. The abrupt changes from Math, Science, and U.S. History to Cleaning, Cooking, and "Informed Decision Making", which was more like the new propaganda of the Earth, had quickly moved him from the top to the bottom of the class, which was pretty acceptable to all but his parents. There wasn't a failing grade. At least in the Civil sector, it was all about your worth. The aliens, West couldn't bear to call them anything more, had the audacity to put a price on every man woman and child at that point, and the education system soon became a price gathering system because you could only survive off of what you had... Instead of heading into the school, he turned left, away from the school and reached into his shoulder bag to pull out an orange supplemental drink. He frowned in distaste, but opened it and downed it anyways. He looked around for any more of the aliens, but thankfully, there were none. Placing the empty bottle in his bag (he'd have to refill that later) he wandered beyond the school, heading towards his usual hangout in the storage room of the factory a few blocks away. Jimmy knew he probably get punished a little, unless he explained that his mother was sick, which was true, unfortunately. He only planned to stay for an hour, figuring that they would be forced not to mind. ((not bad. how do you like the new education))

Once the two men reached the entrance to the factory they were forced into a single-file line to be processed for the work day. Reece and Gaston had forged IDs that these workers used, and they knew that they didn't need to pose as someone else in order to get it. This factory, although small, had a reputation for having one of the fastest turn over rates. In this new employment world that meant that workers were injured and/or killed so much that there were at least five or six new workers coming in each week.
On either side of the large steel double doors were two aliens, checking each worker's ID and waving them through. Both of the rebels breathed a sigh of relief when they were let through without any problems. On the inside of the building both men and women were at their stations, monotonously doing the job they were assigned. This factory was used for production of the aliens' gadgets, specifically the communicators they used to speak with each other over long distances. Reece had entertained the thought of pushing for a liberation of a weapons production factory, but he knew that the defense and firepower there would be way too difficult for their small rebel group to overcome. That would have to wait. Immediately he and Gaston went to a random station and followed along as quickly as they could. After a few times attaching part A to part B they got the hang of it. For about half an hour they worked, until the entire factory was full of the workers and the aliens that watched and made sure that they didn't do anything but work. Gaston leaned slightly towards Reece to whisper to him, "Ok, everyone else is set up at their points around the factory. They'll make their move when they hear it start. Now you make yours." Reece nodded his head a little, showing that he understood. One of the guards was about to walk past them, so he turned around and addressed it. "I need to go to the restroom, Leader sir," he asked in a submissive voice. The guard grunted in annoyance but pointed to where the restrooms were. "Huuuryyy u-up hhhuuumannn," it said, the sound of English a strange noise grinding out of it's mouth. Reece obeyed, walking in the usual weak way to where the restroom's were, with a little help from the butt of the guard's gun on his back. The workers must not have asked for bathroom breaks very often because no aliens guarded this end of the building. In any case it was just what Reece needed. Now his goal was to get to the main office of the factory without being seen and kill the aliens that were put in charge of this factory. After that first shot, Gaston and the other rebels would be signaled to get rid of all of the other ones so that the workers could be saved. This was Reece's first time playing such a crucial role in a mission, and he hoped he could pull it off without any problems. [Yup sounds good.]

No one expects a human to have his hangout within the ventilation system of the factory. Than again, the ventilation system was riddled with fans and was barely tall enough to stand accept in one spot, which West built over the course of a month. It was before the invasion, of course, when the factory was still abandoned. Even now, the "leaders" hadn't figured that the hideout was here.
Slipping past the perimeter guard was easy enough, since Jimmy knew the place better than they did. It seemed, to West, as though that the aliens weren't so different from some of the people described in history. Like the German Nazis who beaten the Jews or other racist minds, they were arrogant and ultimately overconfident in their abilities, which probably were only in technology and physical strength. This, being recognized by government officials, created fear, and the fear created the encouragement for the racist mindset. He crawled into the vent as he heard the doors to the workplace close. There wouldn't be any tolerance for late workers now, unfortunately. As he crawled past the bathrooms, probably the smelliest place in the entire factory because of how little the aliens cared, he saw a new face. Interesting as he didn't seem to go need to go. Workers only get one break every month, on the threat of beating. He was either new and doomed through the lack of connections, or not new and was up to something. West decided to follow the man and see what he was up to, contrary to his normal route. It wasn't as though he had anything better to do, and it may be interesting to see what the man was up to.
