I've finally taken my last exam of the year, and it's officially summer for me! So excited. Going to get a job, and work on my writing. A promise for a great summer. >.<

My Summer plans involve moving a friend into my house, going on a road trip, and then if I don't already have a job by then... finding myself one. I've been looking for months, but, said friend claims his dad has connections at a few places... so we'll see how that goes. xD;

My summer started at the beginning of the month... with me going to the Urgent Care because I almost had Strep Throat. Ever since I finished my antibiotics a week later I've been lazing around the house watching anime, playing videogames and posting on Trisphee.

However, I'd love to find a summer job.

I've been out of school of three weeks now, and have done... precisely nothing. I think I left my house once, to go get groceries. No plans for the next three months, besides relaxing as much as possible. I'm starting at university in the fall and want to be well-rested and hopefully bored of sitting around home, so as to reduce my likelihood of skipping class.

I don't particularly like Summer as a season, my room gets no air conditioning and it's always uncomfortable up there. The heat tends to put me in a bad mood and keeps me from being very energetic. I'm finding I'm staying up late a lot, mostly because it cools off at night, but that's not a very healthy schedule for me, since I end up skipping meals.

And despite sitting in front of my laptop nearly all day, I never actually *do* anything (like, I don't know, write in one of the five-thousand books I'm allegedly going to finish some day) and instead end up zoning out on forums and games all day, and just generally wasting my time.

So... yeah, yay for depressed, misanthropic Summers.

Summers haven't meant anything for me for the past four years since I graduated college and started working full time.

Now it's become that time of year when my car's steering wheel becomes too hot to touch.

But at least AX is around the corner and I get to eat a ton of shaved ice.

Summer isn't much different for me, I've been out of school for a while so it's pretty much job hunting and playing games all the time for me.. >>

I do hope to finally go swimming again this year though, it's been two years and I miss it. I still need to check if my swimsuit fits :P
