A sigh fell past Lee's lips. It was just another evening at the night club for him. Backstage, he got ready for the every night main event that most, if not all, of the crowd came to see. It was one of the big things that kept this club running every evening. The black haired male ran a hand through his hair as he looked at himself in the dressing room's large mirror, shared with all the other occupants in the room. He didn't look happy, nor did he feel it. The only reason he was in this business was because he had nothing else to do with his life, no other way to make some amount of money. With what he got with this job, he was barely surviving in his single apartment.
"You guys are up in five minutes!" Lee stored the information into the back of his mind as he sat there, staring at his reflection. Another sigh escaped past his lips. Other males around him began walking past him as they were already finished getting ready for the night. Slowly, Lee stood himself up from where he sat on his stool bench, placing his palms down against the surface of the long table that was holding up the long and stretched out mirror. He supposed he was ready than he was a few minutes ago. The young male made his way out of the dressing room, all dressed up in his attire, and made his way up to the back of the stage curtains, positioning him in the same spot he always stood in each night before performing began. "Ladies and gentlemen, the show that you all came for... our Club Male Dancers!!" Soon after the voice on the microphone finished introducing the dancers, the large curtains would separate and there would be standing the first three male dancers that would preform tonight, Lee being one of them, standing in the middle of the stage, the other two on opposite sides of him. With a forced small smile on his face, Lee began to dance. Just like every other night on the job, he would dance until his time was up, then move for the next person to take his place, and he would make his way back to the dressing room where he'd call it a night and soon, Lee would be making his way from the dressing room and out into the crowd, to make his way to the main bar where he could ask the bartender to give him this week's paycheck. I really need to stop disappearing from this site. It feels like I don't know anybody anymore.

Joseph had entered the club without much in his head besides endless details from a book he'd been reading just an hour before. His brown hair was haphazardly left on his head as though it had just been hit by a tornado of some kind, his blue eyes dropping slightly from fatigue.
He took a seat at the bar when he had entered, ordering something simple. He wasn't much of a drinker, after all, and he couldn't really hold his alcohol. So, he usually just stuck with the least alcoholic thing there was- water. "First time here?" The bartender had never seen him before. Then again, to Joseph, not recognizing a face had become quite understandable at that point. He was a workaholic, after all. His life was spent in libraries and traveling once in a while for an expedition. He had just recently moved to the area and thus had spent most of his day cooped up in the local library, getting used to it and finding books of interest. He had mostly entered the club in hopes of rest. The last thing he expected was dancing there. His face reddened slightly as they came out, and though only one caught his interest, he couldn't bare to look at the man with his own eyes. He covered his head slightly, the pain in it throbbing as if just seeing such a sight made it worse. The man was, in all aspects, amazing to Joe. But he hated to see such an amazing person wasting their time in such a conspicuous job. "Someone caught your interest?" Joe pointed him out. He pointed out the black-haired man, the one in the middle. The man wasn't apparently phased when this was the decision, and gave the name to him afterwards. "So his name's Lee huh? Maeng sounds like a Chinese sort of name...Hm." He tried to hide his curiosity, but his failure at it was to be expected. Maybe I'll call out to him later. See if there's a way to help him somehow.

A sigh fell past his lips as he pushed through the crowd, doing his best to drown out the noises around him as he continued to walk in the direction of the club's bar. He just needed to get his pay check then slip out and his evening here would be over. He could only hope that he didn't get stopped by sleazeballs looking to sleep with him.
"Hey there," He'd greet the bartender while taking notice that there were a few people sitting there at the bar, Joseph being one of them. "I'm here to collect." Knowing what Lee had meant by that, the bartender would go off for a moment, shifting through some things, then soon be coming back to hand over the envelope to Lee. "Thank you," He'd say, offer a small smile. "I'll see you tomorrow night." And soon Lee would be turning away from the bar, planning on heading straight for the door to leave, unaware of Joseph's thoughts on wanting to talk to him. If the other male didn't hurry up, he'd lose sight of Lee. I really need to stop disappearing from this site. It feels like I don't know anybody anymore.

((Darnit! I had a decent reply written and lost it when I pressed send ;-; Well, this won't be a great post because I'm having trouble thinking of a response... But I will do my best. Okay?))
Joseph kept his eyes peeled, finishing his drink in a simple manner. He forced his callused, rough hands into leather gloves, tying them tightly to keep them from falling at the wrists with thick hemp. A sigh escaped his thin lips, a hand moving for his leather knapsack near his chair. He forced the bag onto his back, taking a couple dollars out of his jeans pocket and putting them on the counter. "Thanks for the drink. I'm out of here then." He waved with a simple smirk on his face, washing it away to walk after Lee. "Hey. Lee, right? If you have some time, I was hoping to chat a bit." He put his gloved hand on the other man's shoulder. "You seem to be fairly comfortable with the surroundings here- perhaps too comfortable. You don't seem all that happy for your work- but then again, you can do much better, I'm sure. Shouldn't you have a job that doesn't seem to make you feel like you're in hell on Earth?" He lifted his hand off of the shoulder, raising it instead so it was near his face, a way he hoped would show he meant no harm. "My name's Joe. I'm what some might say to be a humble traveler. I was hoping you could tell me a bit about the area. The library surprisingly doesn't have much background on this particular area... It's a pain to figure out anything if there's not a book nearby that can tell me. If you have the time, I'd be grateful if you'd tell me some of your stories. It doesn't have to be anything particularly special- just your life in this area. Something you've noticed. Anything would be fine, really."

His eyes were set right in font of him, landing on the path that would lead him towards the front entrance and outside to his freedom. However. . . it would seem that his plans would be cut into and changed as he felt a hand being placed upon his shoulder and a voice calling after him. His feet would stop and he'd turn around, blinking a few times as he took in the other's appearance.
"Yes, my name is Lee." He'd confirm. "Chat?" He'd blink at that. He was far more used to guys coming up to him and asking for "services" for the evening, which he always declined as he was not a hooker. Was this just this man's way of nicely trying to ask for the same thing? ". . . Why me?" He'd ask, tilting his head slightly to the side. Out of everyone out of this club, he asked him of this. He could have asked anybody else, but this guy seemed to have waited till Lee was done dancing for him to catch up to and ask this. "This isn't just a polite way to try to get me to sleep with you for the evening, is it?" I really need to stop disappearing from this site. It feels like I don't know anybody anymore.

"I'd pass on such a thing anyway." Joseph replied simply, waving his hands in front of him as a show of denying the very idea. "I asked you because you had an interesting air. Different then your coworkers. That's why I made sure to ask your name from the bartender so I could catch you more easily. Though perhaps that was a bad idea, as I think on it further."
he tilted his head slightly towards one shoulder, hands now at either side of his body. He was covered almost head to toe in brown and white, whether it was his brown head of hair, his leather jacket that was open to allow his white t-shirt to peek through or his pants that were covered in pockets. Despite being fairly ordinary in appearance, Joseph's voice was fairly mixed for a man. While it held some deep edges, it was reverberated with higher undertones than most males. His eyes were also slightly bigger than most men, and so he kept them partially covered with his bangs. "I won't try to force you to come with me. I'm sure it's awkward to be suddenly asked in this type of place for a story about your life....But it doesn't have to be anything personal. Even if you just tell me where you like to eat, it lets me learn about the area. Learning about this area is crucial for me, you see....So I wanted to find out from someone who seemed like they could help. After all, you don't seem to enjoy your work like some do. You must have something else though that makes you smile, right?"

". . . . Hrm. You'd be the first then." Lee would mutter, crossing his arms over his chest. "An interesting air, huh?"
For the moment, Lee would stand there and listen again to what the other male had to say. His eyes would give the other an up and down before finally settling on the other's face once again. He didn't look bad, that was for sure. ". . . . Alright." What harm could it be, really? All this man seemed set on getting out of Lee was a story and information about the area. He'd lived here since he was a child, so why not? "Come on." He'd give a slight motion of his head, indicating to start walking with him or else he'd get left before. "Where would you like me to start?" 'You must have something else though that makes you smile, right?' Lee would blink at the comment, glancing at the other for a moment before turning his attention back in front of him. Something else that made him smile? ". . ." He was silent for a few moments. Then, "No. . . not really." I really need to stop disappearing from this site. It feels like I don't know anybody anymore.

"Hm...Where to start...Well, I usually just let people I ask start wherever they feel makes sense. Usually that ends up being the beginning, which can range anywhere from where they were born to when they started a job."
Joseph put his hand on the rim of his hat, tipping it forward slightly to hide his face from view, as if not wanting the way his face contorted when he thought to be noticed. He spoke with it slightly covering his eyes and nose. "In this case... I guess the most simple question would be when you first came across that joint? To be honest I had trouble finding it- I only found it because I was lost. It's not the easiest place to find if you're a traveler." It had been true, of course. Joseph preferred side roads less traveled in general compared to the highways used by the majority of society. He'd found the bar by fluke while looking for a place to rest after his long day at the library. "I don't really know much besides outside the books I've read right now, so my information is very limited. But in general, that place was full, but only to the point where it seemed it was a members-based club. To be honest, being in there rather reminded me of high school compared to most places I end up."
