The Fourth Season FanFic

[here is a story idea I've been working on. Yes it's tinkerbell but despite the fact it's a kids movie the plot is very good and has inspired this story]

Tinkerbell smiled as she slipped the newly fashioned pin into the joints of the large golden locket. Inside the heart shaped metal were pictures of a man and a woman.
"There, that should do it." The blond fairy said in satisfaction as she laid the locket and chain next to the few other lost things she had repaired. Laughter reached her ears and she waved at Silvermist and Terrance, two friends of hers who had just returned from some work on the mainland.
Silvermist, a dark haired and exotic eyed fairy dressed in blue flower petals, flew over and landed beside her. "So are you ready for winter Tink? Are these the deliveries?"
"Yep! Just finished actually." Tinkerbell said proudly as she took a small leaf and rubbed the gold locket a little so it shone. "I know I won't be able to stay long but at least I will get to see the mainland again!"
"You spent the entire summer there." Silvermist pointed out to which Tinkerbell laughed nervously.
"I know... I just can't help it! There are so many things to tinker with down there. So many lost things."
"Well when the snow starts there won't be much to find. Even I won't be going." Silvermist told her softly. "While the nature fairies work during every season the frost and snow fairies have almost all the work during the winter."
"Well I won't be there long." Tinkerbell reassured her friend. "I will be back before you know it!"
"You should really wear something a little warmer." Silvermist stated in a mothering way, worrying for her friend who was inclined to tumble head first into trouble.
Tinkerbell nodded firmly. "I will be fully prepared. You can count on me!"
Silvermist smiled, but her eyes still held some worry. "Good. Well I will see you around Tinkerbell."
"Don't worry. What could possibly happen?" Tinkerbell said as she spun a coin with her hand and watched it fall head's side up. "I'm sure everything will be just fine."
