Alright lads and lasses. You've opened this after reading the title, so spoilers are abound and no warnings shall be given. With that said...


Jared Leto was simply the worst possible choice they could have had for the Joker.

I mean it. The movie itself was good. Not jaw dropping but a decent movie. In all honesty Will Smith stole the show and came out much better than I think anyone could have anticipated, but can we address the agonizing and cringe worthy 'acting' of Leto? The only useful thing he attributed with his role was to give the audience an intermission to use the bathroom while he was on scene. What makes it worse is that after the year of hype for this yokel to be the Joker (while everyone else was passed over for exposure), the result we're given is 7 minutes portrayal of a character that acts and appears as if he was researched at your local Hot Topic. Especially after all the stupid stunts pulled on set and horrible things done to fellow actors, you would expect this assholery passed off as method acting to yield some okay results. But no, we're left with a character that is the physical embodiment of a 13 year old's angsty Myspace page who has recently had his fandom insulted.
