Finding a job is harder then it looks | #1
I have been unemployed for five years now and it is not easy finding a job where I live. Since the economy is still trying to get back on it's feet jobs are getting harder to find where I live.
So it is not been that easy for me I had to do a ton of cut backs on some stuff, plus help out around the house for my parents, and much more. I feel upset, tired, depressed all rolled into one ball ready to explode and I don't know what to do. I have tried everything but still nothing. Any tips or suggestions on how I can get over this problem?:( Please help me on my quest if you can: http://www.trisphee.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7606

My husband was out of work for a few months and when we were about to lose our apartment, he took the last of our money we had to pay for truck driving school to get a job right away. That was the only job avaiable in our area that he could do. I wish there was another option out there for him but we have no one we can live with if he doesn't have this job. All I can think of, is just hang in there. You will get on eventually. I just hope you can find a good one soon. »·,´·˙(´·˙¸ ¸˙·,)˙·,´•·˙·,¯´·˙·• •·˙·,¯´·˙·•╭☆╯•·.·´¯`·.·• •·.·´¯`·.·•´`·.(`·.¸ ¸.·´).·´`·» uǝʇʇoƃɹoɟ puoʎǝq sı ɔıƃɐɯ ɟo ǝʌol ǝɥʇ

Take an entry level position anywhere, Fast food even. Work two jobs part time. Hell I put in over 30 applications in a month and was willing to work any hours needed just to get my foot in the door.

I know how you feel, I have been looking for work myself and probably sent a ton of applications in and only heard back from a hand view of them.
I would recommend volunteering, I recently started doing volunteer work once or twice a week and it help gets me out of the house and around new people.

I can suggest doing a paper route if you have your driver's license and are not in school. Other than that just keep trying :)

it depends on what category of jobs you go for, there are some known companies write a craigslist list ad for jobs, then some mom and pop jobs. I've found some jobs through there as long as they give a detailed description of the requirements, pay, where to apply, and the company as well as location.
when you look for jobs on there, there are categories of jobs, if you go to misc, it's mostly going to be surrogacy mothers and egg donors. Just try it out for a moment and to always apply often, but not too much or else CL will consider it spam (Had it happen)
