Has anyone been playing the game?

People say it's a Pokemon clone but it's truly it's own thing, everything that Pokemon lacks in Yo-Kai Watch makes up for it. But for everything Pokemon excels in Yo-Kai Watch lacks.

The RNG is strong in this game so you might lose you're mind like I did trying to get all those rare Yo-Kai. And sometimes you might need to get a specific item, at that point it's RNG on top of more RNG.

There's this great feeling of befriending a very rare Yo-Kai that Pokemon doesn't seem to do for me anymore.

The game has an extremely boring start in terms of gameplay, the only real draw at the beginning of the game is the cute story, world, and funny characters.

Yo-Kai Watch is a comedy, it doesn't really use potty humor and you will get a good chuckle or two from the cleverly use of puns and situational humor.

Overall it's a solid C+ game, it's gameplay even in late game is sort of lacking. The game is flawed, but it's still a lot of fun and worth looking into if you need a break from Pokemon or trying to find a replacement to Pokemon as a new main title game hasn't be released this year, or even announced yet.
