Hm.... do you americans make this insanely big deal out of the houses in Harry Potter because you have none of your own??

Houses are so.....normal.. :\

In primary school I was in the house "Orchid" represent by a purple belt and button on our uniform. There was also "Ixora" (yellow), "Anthurium" (green) and "Chaconia" (red)

As I graduated to secondary school... MORE HOUSES...

I was part of "Beattie" represented by nasty curry yellow belt on your uniform other houses include "Mahase", "LaHorie", "Guiseppi" and "Wagar" represent by white, dark blue, light blue and red belts respectively.

This "house" thing... is normal. And to see people make a big deal out of it... makes me..... amused
