Are there a lot of super popular boy wizard series? I can only think of about three series with boy wizards in them and only one of them was super popular.

Maybe it is because you seem a little like an old school roleplayer. I started roleplaying back when you actually had to "audition" to get into roleplay forums and since I have become a DM I tend to get a little meticulous with my recordkeeping. I like to turn little one-off details into plot points later, which requires a bit of continuity-mindedness.

Highly amused that my goofiness avatar is your favorite. I literally just threw it together because I wanted to use the candle on my head item and wanted it to have a narrative to it.

I can understand a once in a while slip-up, but seriously, continuity is just good writing. I think that is part of why I am such a hard-core researcher when I am writing or roleplaying. I want to be able to catch the nuances of an action, to sprinkle in details that make it seem alive and realistic. When I'm not being lazy.

Also the world has rules. Even in fantasy when the rules aren't the same as our world there needs to be rules and consistency. That's part of why I dislike a certain popular boy wizard series because the author couldn't figure out what the heck the rules were.

I'm confused... people that don't believe in continuity? As in they don't stay in character, don't keep their timeline in order... How do you say screw continuity?

I mean... what's wrong with continuity? The second one is deffo out on Trisphee. XD
