I have a hard time with tattoos since they can be a little difficult to see. A subtle art it is.

hehe so you're like a completionist only it applies to real life. I kind of understand. I'm that was about by job/duties. I'm a perfectionist and since my work reflects me what I do has to be PERFECT. Not just my primary tasks but EVERYTHING...must be perfect xP

Well nothing like spending some frustrating, yet rewarding, hours trying and trying again. Just make sure you have a clear direction. ^_^ I can't help more than that though since I don't have the art of good line art down yet either =( I'm seriously better at just making sketchy images.

Not that particular drawing. It isn't interesting to color in. From what I've seen in your shop, like the Gwion, it isn't art skill that's the problem but the quality of the pictures. Not all line art is super clean lines with zero texture. But the images need some size and definition. Texture and "sketchyness" can sometimes be bane or boon for coloring a line art. There's so def way. Sorry, I hope I make sense and not mean or anything.
