I did not. That was ridiculous. It wasn't hard -- it's entirely luck based. You had to trigger a battle that was a 1/64 chance of showing up, which had a 1/4 chance of dropping an item, and that item had a 1/256 chance of being the Pink Tail you needed.

Luckily, the armor was totally unnecessary.

Well, they were exclusive to Terra and Celes respectively. Everyone else got their own superweapons, too, but those were most overpowered.

And I think I'd rather just load up 1.3 if I wanted to challenge myself. :P

New av suspense is suspenseful. XD What colors are you going with? I'm thinking about tinkering with a new av myself, just haven't really had any inspiration. DX

I think those were my setups for the Dragon's Den, which was the bonus dungeon in the GBA edition. Though, at that point, I had even more broken weapons like Apocalypse and Save the Queen, but Lightbringer still held its own even then.

And you'd have to make certain characters for a challenge run, because a Terra/Celes/Edgar run would be insanely easy. That's pretty much what I did in the end, anyway, those three were so far above my other party members half the time I would just leave everyone dead and let them solo. Maybe a Mog/Relm/Umaro run. :P (the story won't let you not use Celes at the end, I'm pretty sure, though)
