I felt as if I was required to post a message. So I have. Well not yet because I have to hit post before it's actually submitted. But then it WILL be a post! I'm a bit weird huh? Maybe I shouldn't be. Oh speaking of! I can't do anythin with Mr. Tiddle today so you'll have to wait a little longer. State Fair and what not.

I know how to read music. (obviously with 6 years of band.) But I have to learn where the keys are and how to properly finger them.

I've been trying to teach myself keyboard. I haven't had time to practice lately though. I can play very simple songs. Mary had a little lamb, twinkle twinkle.

Even if a teacher never touched a student. I was close with my band conductor. At graduation he hugged a few of us. We had all been through a lot together. I know it sounds geeky, but band really can be like a family. You go through a lot together.

Society these days. They're so paranoid and quick to assume the worse.
Some of my teachers we got along well and they were better than our counselors. They actually helped and listened to us. They CARED about us. And it didn't mean they were crazy sexual molesters. That fear is there and I know even a simple handshake these days can get a teacher in trouble. We've gone overboard.

NO WAY! Why! I didn't add teachers but we had some who were awesome.
