Fire: 75% hit rate, medium-high dmg, dmg over time( can stack), second lowest hp
Ice: 80% hit rate, medium-low dmg, can stun enemies, 50%dmg shield, highest hp
Storm: 70% hit rate, highest dmg, lowest hp
Myth: 80% hit rate, medium dmg, summons minions, clever at higher levels
Life: 90% hit rate, low dmg, 2nd highest hp, healer
Death: 80% hit rate, medium-low dmg but high dmg potential, drains health for personal use
Balance: 85% hit rate, medium dmg, buffs and debuffs

This is all from memory. I'm not sure on some of the hit rates but it should be close.

If you've already created an account. I believe you have to check your email in order to create the password for you to log on with. Also don't forget it takes awhile for the game to update all the patches on it when you first try to start it (such as all games do). When you start it normally it takes about a minute to collect some files it needs to run the you hit play. After than you create a wizard. You can either do the quiz, or click the button to skip it and choose one of the seven schools. I have all but the ice school up to level 10 at least. So you'll be getting a higher level to help you out ;D Which one I use depends on what class you choose as your starter. When you start playing with your wiz you can do the tutorial. I like to do it for the extra exp but you don't have to if you're impatient about things like that. The tutorial is just a single battle anyways. Pretty short. Hope that covered what you were asking for. ^-^
