I have Eternal Poison. Another awesome game. Also very difficult, though. I think I finished 3 of the stories, but I was never very good at it.
And they just skipped a lot of the original FFs over here when they first came out, so they numbered them in the order we got them, instead of the order they were originally made. It's been corrected on newer releases, though.
Ah, right, Chrono Trigger, that was supposed to go on my list. And I could never get into the second Lufia, it played totally different to the first, even though it's supposedly quite a bit better.
I'm not sure Brigandine was ever officially released over here. It was a brutally hard tactical RPG, but it had really cool gameplay where each of your characters commanded an entire unit of soldiers, and they each got a class change at certain levels (I think 10 or 25) that totally changed the way they played and what kind of soldiers they commanded. I never finished it, though, it was just hard for me.
Dial-up? O_O I am so very sorry. But it is a truly tiny file. "ZSNES" is what you're looking for.
And I've played, um... I'm not even sure, I run emulators for most of the old systems. On SNES I think I played FF 4, 5, and 6, though I have the GBA ones too. And Brigandine, I believe. And Lufia and the Fortress of Doom, which is probably my favorite RPG from childhood. Others, I'm sure, that are just slipping my mind.
Oh, sorry, I misinterpreted. My favorite part of it is being better than Espy at it. :P Joking, joking, it's that the characters you use don't just have a rarity, but you can evolve them to higher rarities. It really levels the playing field between people who can pay and people are just willing to work hard.
And you can't even run an SNES emulator? O_O Because, those things are simple. Like, 5 minutes on google and you're up and running, simple.
But yeah, it's a really awful emulator and takes up a massive amount of resources. I have a nearly brand new Alienware laptop and I can barely run it. Which is why I play on my phone. :P
