I've only made it as far Pearl/HeartGold. I've wanted to play the newer games, but we haven't had the cash to sink into me getting them. DX

I don't think I ever played with Chimchar. I always chose Piplup because of how adorable it is, and the fact that Penguins are the ish. XD

I have to say that Bulbasaur does have a special place in my heart though. but that's because of the show, haha.

I prefer the water and fire starters in the earlier gens to grass, and would bounce between them.
