I think they might have just run a check to see if it was strep or not. He said it wasn't bacterial though, so I don't know.

They swabbed the back of my throat, if that's what you're asking. I think that was to do a culture.

They said it was viral, not bacterial, so they wouldn't give me antibiotics.

Yes, and green. It's awful. They said it's a viral infection and I just have to live through it. If I'm not better, or improving, by Wednesday, then we're going back to the Doctor's. I've had two nosebleeds in two days, after not having one for over six years.
