Shush you XD
-
Sure you are. You just don't think about it much because your native language comes naturally. You listed two ways already.
-
I understand. Just not used to being so many ways of saying something XD
-
And that's why I ask so many questions. :P Translation can't be done on a word-for-word basis, especially if you're trying for something poetic or natural; you have to understand what you're trying to say before you can say it.
-
That could work :O
Thank you very much, Coda~
-
Hmm... well, perhaps "maboroshi tsuke", which would translate literally to "the putting-on of the phantom".
-
So becoming one with the phantom?
-
Id say using the phantom. My character creates the phantom. The technique is called "shakunetsu maboroshi" in which he creates it. Then he can equip it through possession... If that makes sense.
-
Or, I suppose, allowing the phantom to possess you.
-
That does help. It disambiguates between "something you own" and "controlling someone's body". The remaining question is if you're possessing the phantom, or if you're possessing USING the phantom.
