Kind of unfortunate that that happens. :< I love the Disney versions, but they also happen to be sugar coated ones. Sad the average person doesn't know that.

Oh another thing I really like about madoka is that sayaka was based off of the original little mermaid (not the Disney version) who gave up everything for the man she loved only to be disappointed when he fell in love with someone else.
