yes, they take that and either test on it or isolate what is on it and grow it in a nutrient jelly

They said it was viral, not bacterial, so they wouldn't give me antibiotics.

Yes, and green. It's awful. They said it's a viral infection and I just have to live through it. If I'm not better, or improving, by Wednesday, then we're going back to the Doctor's. I've had two nosebleeds in two days, after not having one for over six years.
