the room became unbearably small and hot as the other breathed out over his neck, his breath ran short as took his hand into his mouth. from the corner of his eye he could see the other man's mouth hover over his wrist. he pressed back instinctively as he felt teeth lightly scratch his skin. he began to feel faint a small gasp escaped him 'uah'. the other paused. dropping damaris' hand he brought his own up to the boy's chin 'excuse my behavior' the words sounded far away though their faces were centimeters apart. he tried to ask the other to repeat the words but could achieve no more than a slight parting of lips. he stared dazedly as the other broke away.

it took his auntie several minutes to break away from the front but when she did all she found in the kitchen was her nephew twisting the last of the links into the furnace she went over to the boy to demand to know what the pirate captain has said or done. damaris said nothing as was usual of him but pointed over to a bucket on the floor where dirty linnins were soaking. spent lining sat on the table next to it.
