Tar followed the doctor's orders, compressing the boy's chest and breathing into his lungs for him at least until he spit up the water that was blocking his airways. Tar held him close and was glad when he started breathing on his own again. After that he led him to the bed and didn't bother with making them clean for now. The food would be on hold.
