Kent was rather thankful that the School Board had accommodated him well, giving him an apartment close to the school. He had always hated walking to far away places, nearly dying on a few occasions. He was glad to be 2 minutes from the school, hating the fact he didn't own a vehicle anyway. He had woken up a few minutes late but was set up for that. He always had a plan when he'd sleep through his alarm, always sleeping with his cell phone on. He'd always turn on the alarm for it and would set it to vibrate, waking him 3 minutes after his alarm would go off.

He had woken up around 8:35 AM, after a night out on the town. He brushed his hair back into a long pony, smoothing out the tangles. He had finished up a nice hot shower to help his senses wake as he normally slept all day on the weekends. Monday's were harsh. He finished up his breakfast, pouring what was left of the bag into his thermos.

He peeled down one of his blinds, looking through it to see what the weather was like. Putting on a pair of glasses, he grabbed his leather coat and briefcase. He locked his apartment on the way out, heading for the school. Walking onto the teacher's lounge, he crashed on his favourite seat in the couch. He grabbed his agenda out of his briefcase, checking out the schedule he had made for his class today. He always had ideas for his Sociology 12 class, making them watch educational films while he corrected tests or sketched.
