so it turns out kitty isn't very well. she's somewhere between 8 and 12 years old, has a heart murmur, and kidney issues, and her body temperature was cooler than normal. being outside certainly didn't help any of that. she had to have humans, but the consensus was she'd been outside for quite some time - longer than she should have been i think.

i posted on my local nextdoor site and i don't think anyone looked at it. i looked at lost cat postings on facebook too, and none of them matched.

basically, her quality of life would not be good, so hubby made the decision for the vet to send her over to the rainbow bridge, and hopefully some cat or dog is there waiting for her.
