my gripe is silly but i suppose sharing it could be cathartic?

i thought i was ok with an ex friend giving me the cold shoulder after a couple months of chilly ghosting but i recently have been seeing them around through my own stupidity(i hadn't even thought about it at the time) and now i have to deal with my brain wanting to do the wrong thing and ask them why they dislike my company so much and how i can fix things when i ought to just continue respecting their original wish to break things off. i did not even know i was still so childish
