basically they are carriers who are taking two tonnage of food to one of the colonies in the outliers of space and as such usually spend weeks together at a time with only a couple days away from each other before they have to either go back or to their next destination and because it is in space there can be an option to lose the grav XD

the big thing to note is that they are freelance and are not owned by anyone so they can dress act and be whatever as long as the stuff gets to where it is going on time and mine could have a habit of collecting souvenirs and the place can be littered in useless crap ranging the spectrum of colors all in the little bedroom nook, the drivers' compartment and scattered throughout the rest
