he was able to snare a hare by mimicking the sound of a mate in heat though the the creature still fought until he broke it's neck and he used the knife his master made him keep to let it drain while he looked for wood before bringing both back. fter the fire was going he set about skinning it so that they could have roast meat to go with the left-over carrots
