he was not used to buying real food. normally he bought snacks and easy cheap things to make and mam would bring over a week's worth of made and frozen leftovers for him to eat the rest of the time so going out to buy the things for a proper chicken soup was more than a little strange and when he finally got home it was with the weight of two bags of heavy groceries in hand. he was somewhat surprised his roommate was not home but felt relieved as well that he did not have to have those large brown eyes watching him try to cook
