But hey the staff really limited their choices in items when they decided to base the yearlies off of Tarot Cards. You try thinking of Tarot-estique items

actually i was originally in charge of tarot ideas and most of them got shot down, my sets were based off of my own deck as well as some of the most influential decks known with both common and obscure references >>; i made sure everything i put out followed either form or spirit of tarot and what i kew of it from the two years i spent researching and the year i spent using as well as a refresher through my manual and all the lovely little things one can learn from the internet and others with decks
yes, i understand it is a personal journey but when your deck reflects nothing of the tarot you have lost personalization and community and simply have a pile of paper that is worth nothing to noone but yourself. there is a difference between house rules and throwing the book out the window
true coda, there was a bit of talk for the deck to be tris flavored though this goes well beyond that at this point seeing as you don't see much of tris in it only the users /of/ tris which is not quite the same thing
small edit so you know what i am saying;
you want people to look at the item and go 'oh! that is the tarot' just by seeing it, if it has to be explained it failed
