they didn't even know the small dots above their char's eyes were supposed to be eyebrows -_____-;

now, i am not going to profess that everyone should know everything about a culture before they try to emulate it but when you know fuck-all about something do /not/ throw yourself face first into it

but i let them know and now their char is a pink-skined, ginger-haired 'asian' who wears a summer kimono all of the time with two sets of eyebrows and a weird hairdo

the art looks ok though;
