Ah I've seen that yarn before Femme. I hope it sells.

Thank you :). I've not actually seen a spun, plied version that was 100% plastic. Not on Etsy. There were plied versions that were plied with wool or something, basically acting as a core to hold it together. However any more that I make will most likely be single ply.

Yeah. The plying thing was experimental as it was the first time I'd plied. I'd actually like to spin with some animal or plant fibers, just to see how it feels (quite different from plastic I am sure!) but actually spinning is really fun.

*nods* The spindle I have I made, by cutting some disks out of corrugated cardboard and alternating their grain (to add strength), glued them together, and then glued the whole thing onto a dowel about 1' in length (I didn't measure it or anything like that, just guessed), 1/4 of the way from one end.

(。◕‿◕。) Wow, that is cool. It's amazing that you figured that out
on your own. I don't think I would of been
able to figure something like that out if I
tried to spin. But I sure would love to try
to spin, sounds so much fun and relaxing.
But knowing my luck, I wouldn't get far with
4 cats.

Aw... well, I am guessing they would make it difficult, but certainly it could still be worthwhile. *nods*. Some more unorthodox spinners might venture to use the cats' hair to spin with!

(。◕‿◕。) LMFAO, and it would be a unique look since the kitties
left a special touch on it. Hehe. They
definatley would be very helpful.

I'm not even joking about the hair. Hey, we use sheeps' hair, goats' hair, rabbits' hair... why not a cat eh? Heh. Dogs as well, though generally I think the "wet dog" smell lingers for awhile (though I think it can be removed)

(。◕‿◕。) Really? I never knew people use animals hair to spin with.
I know of sheeps wool but never knew goats hair
was used before.

Yes, cashmere is the product of an angora goat... so named because I guess much of it comes from Kashmir. Alpaca is another commonly used, soft and warm fiber. Angora rabbit fur is very fine and so is typically mixed with other fibers such as wool or something.

The world of fiber art is a fascinating world indeed, as old as civilization and as modern as iphone apps :3.

(。◕‿◕。) Hehe.

I just watched some crochet videos. I might
try to do a amigurimi. I do have some yarn
in the house so I might just try one. See if
I like it and if I can handle crocheting. I
am damn good at chains though lol not doubles.

Amigurumi typically uses single crochet ;). But it took awhile for me to get crochet... I still have a hard time with it, but many find it to be easier than knitting, so it is all just a matter of personal comfort...
