So, after my uber bitchy boss dirtied up the cafe area yester with first her "book club" brunch and then her cast iron cooking class, I stayed late to clean it up and wash all the dishes.
And today she left me a thank you note. AND IT DIDN'T EVEN HAVE ANY "BUT, X" OR HOWEVER, Y" LIKE SHE NORMALLY DOES TO ME!

My card was at coffee place! Yay. And also the barista didn't charge for my coffee today, which was a super nice gesture. Just another reason I love it.

I made Potatoes Romanoff today! Mostly. I sort of started to run out of steam so mom helped. And then my brother helped because mom shouldn't be doing stuff. Mom said she didn't care. Other mom got to sit and do nothing. Yay for her!

i went to the gym for the first time since grade 9 and actually finished an hour of exercise
felt sweaty and gross but still real good afterwards
