Yesterday was SekeNeko's birthday so we played mario party 8 most of the night and had a small pizza party amongst ourselves =3

Today's daily awesome so far is the fact it is friday, and the boss is in hawaii so I don't HAVE to stop into work this weekend besides checking to make sure another employee locked the doors XD

Found a bookstore clerk who liked horror and she helped me pick a book! Been through Lovecraft, time for some Clive Barker!

I've also read some of Barker, especially Books of Blood. Don't remember most of the stories in them, though. I do have the Hellraiser and Hellbound movies though!!

I found out what my credit score is...and it's a lot higher than I anticipated!
Also...my scales and yarn for a couple projects arrived, so I can finish those soon!
AND I found out that my next pay check will be AMAZING because in addition to my regular hours, I also get extra hours this Saturday and Sunday for working the front desk for an event and then cleaning up after the event.

The Scarlet Gospels is the one I picked up, which deals with the universe. It follows the original novella (want to read that, too) that introduced Pinhead and company.

I worked a little on my scrapbook today! It's a little thing that I've been adding bits and pieces to overtime. Not always happy with it and some stuff gets placed overtop of other stuff but I'm happy with it so far.

Well, more like trudging and falling over and then trying to dig myself out, but the dog was having great fun catching the snowballs I threw at her, and deep snow makes a lovely body formed chair.

My school just announced it'll be closed for the winter storm tomorrow! Now they can't take it back and I'm free for a day~!

I took off of work because of the predicted snow tomorrow!

(however, I'll be getting a phone call from the school district tomorrow at 5:30 a.m. to let me know if younger daughter will have a 2-hour delay or will be off as well. 5:30 a.m.?!? not so awesome....)

That's early D: ! Schools love to do that though, I think. My family was surprised that the schools didn't put off announcing things for me.

it's very early, yes. But that's what time they always call. We've already gotten emails and phone messages that there will be at least a two-hour delay tomorrow.

when I was in school, they announced the numbers on the radio. That was fun. some radio stations, however, listed the names of the school, not a call number. the numbers were weird. it was like "765" or whatever if it was closed, "2765" if it was a one-hour delay, and "4765" if it was a two-hour delay. or something like that.
