Y'know, I've never seen that movie, but upon a quick read through of the Wikipedia page, that is exactly what I'm up for. And ooh, hiking is fun. :o I'll start thinking up some basic character stuff while you enjoy nature and whatnot. :D

Absolutely. Also, what kind of character profiles are we doing? I tend to just do a paragraph or two, but if you have one you use regularly I'll use that.

I'm down with just a quick paragraph or two. If I expand on them it'll probably be in my writer's corner. I like to let characters evolve through the story so I don't like making them too dense you know what I'm saying?

Dealio! So uh... we could do like...the super generic plot of pirates and navy but like, in the sky? That already gives us plenty to work with in terms of conflict. We could have characters for each maybe?

Sky pirates sounds likes a great time lol. And yeah, a character or two for each sounds fine to me. Maybe make them as they're needed for the story, y'know. Start out with a few to get the ball rolling.

Edit: Should we each have a person in power on one side? For example: One of us play pirate captain and one play like... *draws title out of hat* admiral for the navy side?

Okay! Here they are! Uhmmmm if things need changed, I can do that. I'll add another Navy character when it suits me or it opens up in the story. Lemme know what you think, and if it's good enough I'll edit the first post. ^^

Pirate Crew

Name: Cap'n A'vi Rayt
Sex/Gender: Cis/F/she, her, hers
Occupation: Captain of Caelum's Damned
Race/Appearance: Human
Height: 5'8
Appearance: A'vi is tall for a woman and fit with olive toned skin. She has tattooed sleeves going up both arms, looking to be mostly tribal in design. Her dark brown hair is long enough to touch the bottoms of her shoulder blades though generally she keeps it pulled back. Brown eyes.
Small Bio: A'vi inherited the mantle of Captain upon the death of her adopted father, the former Captain Zet Rayt. Both share similarities in how Caelum's Damned is run, namely, that the crew gets first priority over everything. Anything else? Well, that's for the crew to determine levels of mercy, though this particular ship is known to show scant amounts of mercy, solely dependent on how they are feeling that day or if they like a particular person. Favorite targets for the Damned are slave ships which tend to serve two purposes: lots of money is in the slave trade industry and in newly freed slaves comes the chance of a more loyal crew than she'd find in any of the normal ports.

Name: Zeke Dalma
Occupation: Crew on Caelum's Damned
Race/Appearance: Human-esque (too lazy to come up with a race name)
Height: 6'2
Appearance: Tall and lanky with pale bone-white skin. He has white irises with black sclera and two horns that extend from his temples back into points (about a foot long), black in color. Angular features.
Small Bio: Zeke started out his life as the brat of a wealthy dignitary. All of life's pleasures at his fingertips, Zeke wanted nothing more than a friend, or, at the very least, someone who cared about him. He didn't find that until his father was killed by the crew of Caelum's Damned when their tradeship was attacked in the void of space. Their own ship was going down, his father killed, Zeke had nowhere to go, and could only hope to survive the attack long enough for the air supply to run out and then die by asphyxiation. Lucky for him, he had a quick wit and gun to his head, offered to do even the lowliest of work if they would only spare his life. Captain Zet agreed. It's been years since then, and Zeke has since worked his way up the ladder, and is now treated as one of the crew.

Navy Crew Shenanigans

Name: Iata
Occupation: Sky Navy as a literal weapon
Race/Appearance: At one point, a human.
Height: With cybernetics fully extended, over 8 ft. usual height varies between 5 and 6 feet
Appearance: Choppy black hair frames an angular face that has...something not quite right. Had she been left to her own devices, maybe, at one point, she could have been beautiful. As it stands now though, scars rake across her cheeks from the corners of her lips outward. Long scars intersect with those vertically. One eye is cybernetic, the other significantly altered changing the original color of green to an almost milky blue. Her arms were replaced with cybernetic ones as well as her legs being removed at the knee. Rather than simple prosthetics, however, each were turned into weapons performing the functions of the regular appendages and much, much more. Her legs were given a secondary joint, bending the opposite way the knees generally would. These can extend and detract at will.
Small Bio: No one knows how Iata came to be at the Sky Navy. They only know that she is a freak of – well, “nature” would be the wrong word here, wouldn't it? She was a freak of synthesis, appearing one day as a common foot soldier. She was a foot soldier all of about a day, though there wasn't a title that they could give her. There was no way she could ever be in command, no, she was too much of a sadist for that. She would need a babysitter of sorts, and that babysitter would have to be one of power if they were to make use of her at all. One who wouldn't get sick to their stomach seeing exactly what technology the Navy was capable of.
